The "New England Providore 4 Gauge Amplifier Wiring Kit" was designed to handle power delivery to any car audio amplifier on the market with ease. It consists of twenty feet of heavy duty, industrial, oversized 4 gauge CCA power cable, and three feet of the same in black ground cable. At twenty feet of length, it supports 100A at 14.4VDC. The cable cross section is 20% larger than actual 4 gauge cable, and consists of 1015 0.185mm (32.5 gauge) strands. Our high quality 4 gauge cable is thicker than the cable found in many 2 gauge, and even some 1/0 gauge car audio amplifier kits. The sad fact is that most companies try to maximize profits by shrinking the diameter of the metal inside the cable, and adding thickness to the insulation to make it look legit.
